We were recommended to come to this spot as we are from out of town! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Best food we’ve had in Syracuse thus far. Great music too.

As always while traveling to visit our son away at college, we stopped in Syracuse to try some of the local good food. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the hype. My wife ordered the smothered pork chops with rice and gravy and greens. The pork chop was over seasoned. The rice was overcooked and mushy and the gravy on both were super salty. our youngest son had chicken and waffles. Our daughter got the Rasta pasta, but substituted the chicken with salmon. The sauce was extremely oily, oily to the point where we had to pour the oil off in a separate dish. There was no spice to the sauce whatsoever our young son had chicken and waffles. The chicken was slightly salty. The ribs were good didn’t really seem as though they were smoked, but still good. I had the smoked lamb, which was good. Very flavorful needed some of the fat trimmed, but it gave it a nice taste. The lamb from the sampler platter were overcooked. The lamb gave leftoverish vibes. The sides were good. Our hostess was very pleasant, hospitable and accommodating. there was somewhat of a long wait to grab our food and she explained that she was the only hostess working that day. They also ran out of banana pudding.

Went here on a Sunday evening and this food hit the spot! It was fast, fresh and GOOD! If you miss your grandmother or mothers cooking, this is the place to be!!

We gotta do better black business owners we had to do better. Point blank. Customer service Food presentation hours of operation these things matter for example my children want barbecue. I look up your restaurant. It’s within the hours of operation come to the door and your staff. Don’t even acknowledge me. May I add they’re looking directly at me I’m not happy also it’s not the first time that I’ve come there during hours of operation and the place is closed So now I have to go and spend my money outside of the community….
